What is Dye Sublimation?
Dye Sublimation uses a sublimation printer to print ink onto a specially coated transfer paper. When heat and pressure are applied to the transfer paper, the ink turns into a gas and is infused into polyester in the case of fabric or a special polymer coating in the case of a hard substrate such as an aluminum picture or water bottle. This advanced process produces superior gradients and drop shadows to screen printing, making it ideal for bringing your designs to life.
Environmentally Friendly
Dye Sublimation printing is an environmentally conscious printing process because it produces minimal relative waste. In addition, since the dye never becomes a liquid, it is much less likely to get into the water system, which is a common issue with other printing technologies.
